“Materialism is, amongst all nations, a dangerous disease of the human mind; but it is more especially to be dreaded amongst a democratic people, because it readily amalgamates with that vice which is most familiar to the heart under such circumstances. Democracy encourages a taste for physical gratification: this taste, if it become excessive, soon disposes men to believe that all is matter only; and materialism, in turn, hurries them back with mad impatience to these same delights: such is the fatal circle within which democratic nations are driven round. It were well that they should see the danger and hold back.” Alexis De Toqueville, Democracy in America vol 2 1832

2 Pet. 2:12-14 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; 13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you; 14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children.

Jude 1:10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.

Read the two verses above carefully and fearfully. Grasp the terrifying significance of the words natural brute beasts, and that God says they are created to be taken captive and destroyed. The words natural and brute in these two verses are from the Greek words meaning physical and illogical. These verses must be understood within the context of the "whole counsel of God. In that light, all of mankind is now born in the condition of being a natural, brute beast that will be taken capture and destroyed. And all of mankind will remain in that condition unless something changes them. The only thing that can change us from a natural, brute beast into a logical and spiritual human is the Holy Spirit of God. Anyone who remains as a natural, brute beast will eventually be destroyed by the forces to whom they are yielding themselves.

It is not the purpose of the Christian Mos Maiorm to prevent these brute beasts from being destroyed by their choices. It is the purpose of the Christian Mos Maiorum to call people to Jesus Christ who is the only power in the universe that can save them from the destruction to which they have been ordained. It is the purpose of the church to help care for those who are suffering in the world whether it be from hunger, pestilence, poverty, or the result of degraded lifestyles. At the same time, people must be freed to make their choices, but they must likewise be told that they are going to suffer the consequences of those choices. The cultural forces of the Christain Mos Maiorum must all be working together to permanently solve the problems brought about upon mankind by brute beasts made to be taken and destroyed, but it is the church who is solely responsible for caring for each individual as they suffer, calling them out of the darkness and into the Light. Neither the church nor the culture can alleviate the suffering people bring upon themselves because of their brutishness, but the culture can work to provide a better future for subsequent generations while the chuch cares for as many individuals who will allow themselves to be helped in the present generations. It is the politics of the Whore of Babylon that wants people to be free to live in sin and degradation while the society pays the price for their brutishness. It is the religion of the Whore of Babylon that places the burden of sin not upon the sinner but the culture. It is the economics of the Whore of Babylon that takes the fruit of the labor, the savings, and the investments of the culture and provides them to brute beasts only interested in living for a moment of physical gratification. Natural brute beasts believe only in the present and the material reality. They have no reasoning ability to think about things logically. Natural brute beasts live only to gratify their physical appetites. They believe that life consists of being born, living, and dying solely in a material realm. They have neither capacity nor desire to examine life logically and sensibly. They are natural, brute beasts made to be taken and destroyed, and that is what God is going to do to them unless they repent (change their beliefs).
