EXPECT POLITICAL TURMOIL

Dan. 2:43

“And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.”

The above verse is taken from a larger passage of prophecy in the Book of Daniel. The passage concerns Daniel’s explanation of a dream that King Nebuchadnezzar had. Nebuchadnezzar was the King of Babylon, and he had a dream that disturbed him greatly. The dream was of an image shaped like a man with a head of gold. The chest and arms of the image were made of silver, the belly and sides were made of brass, the legs below the knees were made of iron, and the feet and the toes were made up of iron and clay. Daniel had prayed for God to reveal the meaning of the dream to him so he could tell Nebuchadnezzar what it meant. God heard Daniel’s prayer and gave him the answer. Daniel 2:43 is a part of that answer.

The verb tenses and senses concerning Daniel’s explanation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream indicate that Nebuchadnezzar had not seen a static imagine, but rather a dynamic image that was always in the process of developing of one part into the other from the head down. Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar that head of the great image represented Babylon. Daniel said that three other empires would follow Babylon that would have control of the people around the Great or Mediterranean Sea. Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar that when the third empire after Babylon came into being God would begin to set up His Kingdom on earth. It is only necessary today to look at history to see which political powers had control of the region subsequent to Babylon in order to see what nations the sections of the image in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream represent. It is also important to notice that the prophecy states that the everlasting Kingdom of God will begin to be established in the time of the fourth empire represented by the image.

According to Daniel’s explanation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, an empire of silver would follow Babylon. This was the empire of the Medes and the Persians. Next there would an empire of brass that was going to come to power. This brass or bronze represents Greece. Fourthly, an empire represented by iron legs would follow, and it would be during the time of this empire that God would begin to remove His Kingdom from out of the fourth Empire.

The Roman Empire is represented by the two legs of iron in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream. These two iron legs represent the fact that the Old Roman Empire was actually what historians call the Greco-Roman Empire which still continues today as Western Civilization. But Western Civilization is not in control of the region around the Mediterranean Sea today so it does not have a prominent place in this prophecy beyond the time of the two legs of iron. This Greco-Romanism came about in this fashion: As the Romans conquered the Greeks, the Roman Aristocracy routinely took the Grecian scholars captive and made them tutors to their children. In this fashion the Greek Language and Culture spread through the Roman upper classes making them of a more Grecian character while the lower classes tended to remain more Roman.

The Romans inherited two opposing philosophies from the Greeks: Stoicism and Epicureanism. This can be seen in Acts 17:18. Stoics believed that fulfillment in life could only be achieved through self sacrifice, service, and duty to others and country. This was the Iron of Rome. Epicureans believed that fulfillment in life came from satisfying our desires for pleasure. This was the Clay of Greece. As seen in Acts 17:18 the Gospel is to be preached to both of these opposing factions within Greco/Roman cultures, and those who hear it, and ask to hear more and respond to it in faith, represent the Kingdom of God that was foretold in Daniel 2:34 & 45 as the Everlasting Kingdom that is going to become a great empire and fill the earth. The fact that Nebuchadnezzar’s dream shows God removing a stone, (another symbol for a King and a Kingdom) from out of the fourth, or Roman Empire, shows us that it was prophesied that the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ would occur during the time of the Roman Empire. The fact that the prophecy states that the stone will become a great mountain shows us that The Kingdom of God will grow from out of the Roman Empire and the all of the other kingdoms and empires of Western Civilization that would come after Rome. We are told that when Jesus Christ returns, he will take his empire and destroy all the empires but His own.

The Grecian Empire was the birth place of Democracy while the Roman Empire grew out of the first Republic. These two political philosophies have been competing within the Empires that succeeded Rome ever since the English nobles forced King John to sign the Magna Carta. In America today Democrats tend to be Epicureans while Republicans tend to be Stoics. Out of this mix, Christ is still calling his church.  However, for the Christian, it is true that our service within the Kingdom of God must be accomplished within the nations that men have formed for themselves using these philosophies inherited from Greece and Rome. The church must be guided in her stewardship of Christianity within these nations by the principles of good citizenship given for us in the New Testament. While the philosophic principles of Epicureanism and Stoicism are diametrically opposed to each other, the Christian principles of being good citizens within both secular kingdoms and the Kingdom Of Heaven, have generally placed the church in the middle between these two human philosophies.

In order to understand the constant stirring that God has said is going to be continually occurring among the seed of man in the time of the empires represented by the two feet and ten toes, we need to examine the characteristics of the two empires that preceded them. The third empire that was represented in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream was Greece. The Grecian Empire was noted for spreading the concepts of Humanism, a unified world government of Democracy, a unified monetary system, and a unified religion within the regions it had conquered. The Vision of the New World Order is not at all new but harkens back to the Conquests of Alexander the Great. The Jews at that time, embraced the political and monetary elements of the Grecian Reforms but rejected the religious elements of the empire.

When Alexander the Great died, his Grecian empire was ultimately divided into four regions. These regions were ruled by which ever of his various generals that could grab and hold power within a region. One such region was Syria that was held by the descendants of Seleucid. One such descendent was Antiochus, who on two separate occasions entered Jerusalem and subdued the population. On Dec. 7th, 190 B. C. he had one of his generals desecrate the Jewish Temple in an attempt to get the Jews to call him Antiochus Epiphanes (Antiochus, the Divine). Instead they called him Antiochus Epimanes, meaning Antiochus, the madman. This ultimately fueled the Maccabeean Rebellion that forced the Syrians out of Jerusalem. The Temple was cleansed and an annual celebration of the event was instituted as what is called Hanukkah today. From that time onward until its destruction by the Romans, Jerusalem remained under the political control of the Syrian satraps of either Greece or Rome, but was left to worship God freely in their Temple as they desired. At the birth of Jesus, the Syrian King Herod ruled Jerusalem under the authority of Rome. At that time the Jews paid tribute to Rome, spoke the language of the Greeks, and worshiped the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. It was from this culture that God began calling men out of the kingdoms of earth into the Kingdom of Heaven. This culture from which the church first began to separated was a mixture of both Stoicism and Epicureanism and God has continued calling his church out from among the subsequent nations that have descended from Rome. 

The general characteristics of the Greeks that have been been passed down to the seed of men within Western Civilization is that they tend toward One World Order consisting of the forces of Religious Humanism dominated by the philosophy of Epicurus, Democratic Politics, and a one world economic power that is centralized and controlled by the political power. The general characteristics of the Romans that have been passed down to the seed of men is that they tend to be Republican in their politics, stoic in their philosophy, and capitalists in their economics. As Daniel explained, the part of the image that was represented by the feet and toes meant that the iron and the clay would be continually stirring amongst the people but could never mix together to form a unified whole. The two feet of the image speak to the fact that Rome became divided between Eastern Empire and Western Empire as Rome proper began to fall apart. The ten toes of the image represented the kingdoms of Islam that were going to develop in the region and that we now see coming to power after the fall of the Ottoman Empire.

The United States of America is not seen in this vision but rather has been brought out of all other nations in fulfillment of other prophecies, some of which we have already examined, and one or two others which we look at momentarily. America has been given the privilege and the responsibility to lead the world into religious, political, and economic freedom. She has been blessed, prepared, and prospered by God to this purpose. God will not allow us to fail in our destiny until He has accomplished in and through us that for which He has raised us up. America ever stands at the threshold of fulfilling her destiny or falling into judgment.

EXPECT WARS AND RUMORS OF WARS

Matt. 24:6 “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”

This verse is often quoted today by those speaking and writing about their belief in the imminent return of Jesus Christ. What part of “but the end is not yet” is so hard to understand? The return of Jesus Christ cannot be imminent because we are still hearing of wars and rumors of wars. If you believe in such spiritual things as angels, demons, Jesus, God, Satan, and Heaven, you will have to admit that in the last analysis all wars have been, are, and will be fought under the influence of Spiritual Powers. This site is about Spiritual Warfare within, behind, and in advance of the actual physical warfare that follows where the forces of Christ begin to win the spiritual battles being fought for the souls of men. This site is about how the Christian Warrior in America must relate to these wars. The truth about wars is that they are always the result of demonic spiritual forces working to establish a world wide kingdom where Satan is king, and the spiritual forces of Jesus Christ who are resisting the advance of that kingdom until the Second Coming at the end of the age. Wars have been fought for political purposes. Wars have been fought for commercial purposes. And wars have been fought for religious purposes. All have had behind them the opposing spiritual forces of Satan on one side and Jesus Christ on the other. These forces are engaged in an ongoing spiritual struggle for the soul of mankind and control of the earth.

In his book, CULTURE WARRIOR, Bill O’Reilly makes an excellent case for holding on to the traditional values upon which he believes America was built and which have sustained her to this present time. Mr. O’Reilly’s book and point of view are from a secularist standpoint and should be highly regarded in that light with the caveat that the Secular-Traditional point of view is no more valid than the Secular-Progressive point of view unless it can be shown to be more advantageous to the culture. That can be an arduous task when trying to convince Secular-Progressives because they keep speaking in double tongues about values being relative and ethics being situational and truth being meaningless.

While many Secular-Traditionalist points of view are important and valid, they still can only quote other human beings as their authority for what they believe. Even though experience and history may have demonstrated the superiority of the Secular-Traditionalist point of view over the Secular-Progressive’s in the past, there is no way anyone can say with any authority that those conditions will remain to be true on into the future -- Unless they can quote from an authoritative source who knows the future and confirms what they are saying to be true. But where, within humanity, can such a source be found? If mankind had any trustworthy oracles who could see the future there wouldn’t be any lotteries. So we either have the Bible, or men, such as Edgar Casey and Notstradamus, or Eenie, Meenie, M\inie, or Moe. Make your choice.

If everyone believed in the same authority there would be no cultural war. It is the goal of Islam to convert or eliminate all who do not believe in the same authority as Islam. Some will ask, “But is that not the same goal of Christianity?” That is the goal of Christ, but not the goal of Christianity. Until Jesus returns he is leading his church over the earth to set mankind free from religious, economic, and political oppression. The Gospel prospers within nations whether men are free to proclaim it or not, but it is the purpose of God that it should be proclaimed in all the world before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ and that is facilitated greatly when all the world shall be set free to hear it. Jesus never even asked anyone to consider what he was telling them, much less tried to force them to do so. Jesus stood and proclaimed his message and said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” It is the purpose of the church and America to provide them the opportunity to hear.

So, to “those who have ears to hear, let them hear,” War is not a sign that the end is near. War is a sign that the end is not near. Peace is the sign that the end is near. There are going to be constant struggles, riots, insurrections, and wars in the world for the simple reason that men are too self centered to get along. Ideally, we should be able to say, “Let’s just all love one another,” and that would fix things. But that doesn’t work because we do not live in an ideal world. People are too selfish to respond to each other in love. The best love that we can manage to express for each other in this life is a selfish kind of love that expects a fair exchange. When the fairness of the exchange comes to be in doubt, disagreements and arguments begin that will always be expressed as war in some degree. Marriages fall apart, families breakup, friendships dissolve, communities split apart, insurrections arise, civil wars erupt, and nations rise against nations; all because we become dangerous to each other through our inability to love one another as Jesus has loved us and given himself for us.

Traditionally, the church has believed that this problem is resolved within the individual when they have been “born again.” But that is a process that only begins when someone comes to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as their savior, and it is not completed until we see him and are made like him. Until that time even the church is going to be so imperfect as to war with itself. If this were not true there would not now be over 20,000 schisms, sects, denominations, and divisions in the fractured Body of Christ. Wars are inevitable in a fallen race. Even in Heaven there a war is raging. This war in Heaven began in earnest when Jesus died on the Cross.

“And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.” Dan. 9:26

The above verse from the Book of Daniel explains that when the Messiah is killed some things were going to happen in Jerusalem. We will look at this verse again in another section, but for now, just look at the last phrase, “…unto the end of the war desolations are determined.” According to this verse there was a war that started with the crucifixion of Jesus and desolations are going to continue until that war ends. Since we are told that this is one continuous war, it must be a war within the spiritual realm, and we are told that it will be seen on earth by the desolations it perpetrates upon the “city and the sanctuary.” The word that is translated as “desolations’ is actually a verb, “shamem,” which is in the participle mood. What that means is the action of the verb, “to be desolate” is an action of unbroken continuity. Therefore, It seems that the prophecy states that the war that started in Heaven is going to continue there but that it will also be seen on earth in continuous desolations until the war ends. The manifestations of these spiritual struggles are seen on earth as wars.

“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, 8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven . 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Rev. 12:7-9

The prophecy of the Revelation says that the war in heaven will continue until the Devil is cast out to earth. Jesus told his disciples in Luke 10:18 that he saw Satan fall as Lightning from heaven when the seventy returned saying that even the devils were subject to them through His Name. The verb that is translated as “fall” that verse is an aorist participle. The English language has no equivalent for the aorist tense because it expresses an action without a time frame. Because the verb is in the participle mood it expresses a continuous action of falling with out specifying a time frame. It seems from putting Daniel 9:26 and Revelation 12:9 together that this act of Satan falling to earth began when Jesus was crucified and will not end until Jesus returns again to earth.

Since wars and rumors of wars are a sign that end is not yet near, it follows that peace will be the sign that the end is near. But this peace will not be the peace that passes understanding; it will be the peace that world gives. Just as the youth of Jerusalem prepared the road into Jerusalem for the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ on Palm Sunday, so did the children of the Devil in America lay the road bed for the triumphal entry of their king into the American Culture when they began to chant, “Peace at any Price,” in their demonstrations of the 60’s & early 70’s.

“And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.” Dan. 8:25

There is only one actual person in the History of mankind who is going to stand up against Jesus Christ, the Prince of princes, and be broken (defeated) without hand (supernaturally). That person is the Antichrist. The prophecy of Daniel says the Antichrist is going to destroy many people by peace. Recognize this symbol, ? It is now the universal symbol for peace. “For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” 1 Thess. 5:2-3 Jesus said, Blessed are the Peacemakers, but there are millions now wearing this symbol for peace who are paving the way for the Kingdom of the Dragon who will overrun the Earth and destroy millions of people by peace. The only way I have been able to understand how that can happen is that they will turn to him believing his lies because he offers the to end wars on the earth.

The Bible is very clear then that a war is raging in Heaven, and the effects of that war are being seen on the earth. But the Bible is also clear that there are going to be wars on earth, and the church has been told that what ever she binds in these wars on earth will be bound in Heaven and whatever she looses on earth will be loosed in Heaven. The war in heaven is being fought on two fronts: one in Heaven and the other on earth. Jesus has told us in advance about this war and how it is going to be waged on earth. So when we see the things that He described to us 2000 years ago begin to come about on earth we should understand that Jesus is the authority to which mankind must yield.

AMERICA’S DESTINY

Both the prophecies of Daniel and the Revelation say that the saints are going to be defeated in a war with the Antichrist. The only way that a saint can lose the spiritual battle with the Antichrist is if he abandons his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This is what happened to, perhaps, millions of saints in Byzantium when they choose to convert to Islam rather than die at the hands of Moslem invaders. This was a great apostasy, but was it the falling away, the apostasia, that Paul wrote about in 2 Thessalonians 2:3? If this is the falling away that Paul warned us about, and I believe it to be, then that apostasy is a lengthy process that began with the Christians of Byzantium abandoning their faith under duress for Islam, and which still continuing today. When the process is complete the man of sin, the Antichrist, will be revealed as described in 2 Thess. 2:4.

In the latter part of the twentieth century and continuing on through today we have seen millions of Christians murdered, starved, and tortured by Moslems in all of the regions where their numbers have become sufficiently large to support their insurrections and terrorist activities. These terrorist acts are aimed at eliminating the Christian Faith from the face of the earth and bringing the world into subjection to Islam. It is a certain sign that Satan is behind all of this because the only major outcries against any ethnic cleansing has been when Christians in some area attempted to turn back the clock and rid themselves of their Moslem persecutors. DO NOT BE MISTAKEN ABOUT THIS TRUTH. Spiritual warfare has Material ramifications and failure to fight on both fronts will ensure that elimination of the Christian Faith in lands that lose their faith and their will to fight. It has been happening for 1400 years. But an army whose faith is in Jesus Christ cannot be defeated. Lev. 26:7-8 “And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword. 8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.”

The United States Government for the most part has stood idly by and watched the extermination of millions of people, mostly Christians, by Islamic regimes and terrorists trying to establish such regimes in places all over the globe. Our elected officials are held back by the fear of loosing an election while the godless chants of fearful cowards ring throughout the nation. Afraid to defend the freedoms which our fathers bought for us and have held by their blood, tears, and sweat, these cowards march through the streets in the freedom and the safety purchased for them by the blood of their fathers and spew out their choler against the traditions that have made them free to do so. “Better red than dead,” was their cry in the sixties and seventies. Today they chant their mantras against all that America has been and was created to protect, rewriting history to suit whatever agenda they propose at the moment. Willfully ignorant of the Truth, they spread the lies of the Devil over the land while watching the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave sink deeper and deeper into the deadly pits of sin they love. If this situation continues, the apostasy will be complete because Islam will overrun America just as it did Byzantium, and many will choose Islam rather than die, or, at least, accept it just to have some peace in their lives.

If America does not rise to her ordination, God will surely punish her, even to her destruction.  If too many in America are afraid to put their lives on the line for God and Right, God will take their lives and their land away from them in a moment of judgment, the destruction of which is unimaginable. A meteor could strike the earth setting off a series of events in North America that will spell her doom.

The Cumbre Vieja Volcano on La Palma can burst open at any moment dropping up to five hundred thousand cubic meters of earth into the Atlantic Ocean all at once. This will create an ocean wide Super Tsunami along every Atlantic coast that will destroy roads, towns, cities, bridges, railroads, electrical power grids, sewer lines, gas lines, food sources, and health resources all around the Atlantic Ocean but will have its greatest impact along the entire East Coast of America.

The New Madrid Super Earthquake can likewise reoccur at any moment destroying many towns and cities in a wide spread area in America’s Heartland. In addition to crippling the civil infrastructure in that region, all bridges across the Mississippi River in that region will be destroyed making the transport of resources necessary to the rebuilding of both that region and the East Coast impossible. The Mississippi, Ohio, and Missouri Rivers (possibly including even parts of the Tennessee River Valley) will run wild out of their banks flooding the entire area. Those who are not killed outright along the east coast and within 50-60 thousand square miles of New Madrid will certainly starve or die of some disease or simply succumb in the struggle to survive.

Similar devastation can occur from the eruption of the Yellowstone Super Volcano where falling ash will destroy every living thing within a one thousand kilometer radius from the volcano. Additionally, in areas where life is not extinguished outright, the falling ash will make life unbearably difficult to simply survive. This ash could fall as far away as the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific Ocean. The sunlight reaching the earth will be severely reduced bringing on another mini ice age over the entire Northern Hemisphere. On the West Coast of America the destruction from the San Andreas Fault and the Cascadia Subduction Zones will likewise shut down the civil infrastructure in those regions leaving the people on the Pacific Coast fighting like brute beasts for survival. There is no pretty or nice way to describe the effects of the judgment of God upon a rebellious people. Jesus has said, “Except ye repent, ye will likewise perish.” It truly is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.

So we can see that spiritual warfare has material ramifications, many of which are dreadful. America has a choice to make: Either we live up to our ordination, or we face the wrath of God’s discipline upon us. Either way we are in for a tough time, and tough times require tough minds. I have no good news to forecast for Americans either way because we will either perish in the wrath of God’s Justice or eventually go down in glorious defeat at the hands of the Antichrist before he is revealed to the world. I believe that America is the ordained guardian of the church and Israel during the times when the ten kingdoms around the Mediterranean Sea become opened to our view as the Islamic Nations of this region. I believe the wars and rumors of war that are going to a continual part of the life and times on earth prior to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ are the wars and rumors of wars that are even now becoming way of life in an age when the kingdoms of Islam from around the Mediterranean Sea are trying to capture and enslave the earth. I believe that any nation that does not stand and fight will be enslaved, and I believe that of all the Nations in the world, only Ersatz Israel and the United States of America have the courage right now to resist. I also believe that we must rather die than live as Islamic slaves, and because we choose to fight, we will be despised by the rest of the world.

War has been decreed by the Islamic forces, but we stand idly by while the world falls into the hands of these ten kings. If we do not soon awake from our stupor, God will send us to oblivion and the world will go into darkness. It is for sure that in the judgments that fall upon America the rest of the world will be thrust into a dark age, the effects of which will destroy the infrastructures of all western civilization, leaving only the regions of the Mediterranean strong enough to survive as a culture. This will be seen by those who survive as a vindication of Islam. Many will apostate from Christianity to Islam, and the man of sin will then be revealed. America must awaken to righteousness or face destruction.
