THE AMERICAN MOS MAIORUM AND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT

You should read the pages in this thread in this sequence in order to completely understand the proposition of this site that God has ordained America to solve the problems of poverty, disease, famine, and over population in the world, and how He has declared our work must be carried out. The order is: this page followed by “America in Prophecy” followed by “Strongholds and Imaginations” followed by “What Must We Do” followed by “Judgment” The assumption made in writing each of these pages is that you have read the previous pages.

Communities are bonded together by their beliefs. The customs that express these beliefs are handed down from parent to child. These traditions of the elders passed down to their children are called Mos Maiorum, the Latin phrase used in the Roman Republic and Empire that described what the citizens believed and held dear. People show themselves to be either a part of the community or a renegade from the community by their conformation to these customs. In America today we are being told that we must accept a Multicultural Society. Multiculturalism is becoming America’s Mos Maiorum. A multicultural United States is the mantra of the perpetually stupid who have been liberally maleducated, and I confess that each advance of multiculturalism makes leaves me more and more an outcast as an American.

The notion that a multicultural Society can be unified is oxymoronic, a contradiction in terms, an incongruity of words. It is like civil war, discordant harmony, and individual communist. A community that attempts to embrace many cultures within the community will no longer be a community, it will be a “conmultity,” a conglomeration of multitudes, holding nothing in common, and having no appreciation, respect, care, or concern for each other. Nothing unified can come from multiculturalism; it will result in nothing but the confused commotion and cacophony of individual whining. The term Multicultural carries its own denial. By definition Multi expresses many. and culture requires unity. The more cultures a nation attempts to embrace the more it will turn to tribalism.

In every culture that has ever existed for any length of time there can be found a binding set of rules that governed the conduct of its citizens in both their public and their private affairs. Seldom have the legislated laws of a culture been as important to the identity of the culture as these unofficial rules of the culture. These cultural rules, the Mos Maiorum, have always been more important to the unity of a culture than its codified laws. The things that separate one culture from another are found in this set of unwritten rules that govern the conduct of its citizens. Individuals within any culture have always been expected to willingly subject themselves to the rules of the culture for the purpose of perpetuating the culture. Even cultures that had no written language had cultural rules to which the members of the culture were held accountable. Tribal cultures such as the American Indians each had their unwritten cultural rules handed down from father to son and mother to daughter that taught the children what the tribe expected of them in order to become and remain members of the tribe.

In the Roman Empire this set of rules was called the Mos Maiorum, the traditions of the fathers or ancients or elders. Whatever else one may choose to believe about such traditions, in the final analysis they have had but one purpose: The unification of the culture so that culture will continue to exist. In Rome the Mos Maiorum had originated within the ancient tribes of Italy who first cast out their kings and established the first form of that representative democracy that we call a Republic. The Mos Maiorum of Ancient Rome was handed down from father to son, mother to daughter in order to perpetuate the Republic. Just as it is happening in America now, the Republic began to fall apart when its leadership began to serve themselves rather than the Republic. The Republican Mos Maiorum continued to exist in isolated individuals even after dictatorship replaced the Roman Senate as the political power in Rome.

The Mos Maiorum of any culture is always more spiritual than material, more religious than political or commercial. There are many people who identify themselves as Christians today who believe the way to return to our Christian Heritage is by electing people with cultural ideals that coincide with the notions of liberty, fraternity, and equality of mankind. This can be shown to be false because this is what has destroyed the culture since the American Electorate succumbed to the rhetoric of Christians like Harry Hopkins, Mary McLeod Bethune, and Will Alexander who emphasized and taught a Social Gospel in the first third of the 20th Century. After the Second World War, the mantle of such people was taken up by social engineers like Dr. Martin Luther King, Rev.’s Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, as well as such organizations as People for the American Way, and Call to Renewal.

The Social Gospel is contrary to true Biblical Christianity because it seeks to change governments instead of people. There is no spiritual difference between an Humanist Atheist and a Social Gospel advocate -- both are working from a materialistic perspective. No spiritual improvement comes in people from the Social Gospel. The power in real Christianity comes from the Holy Spirit changing people, writing the Spiritual Laws of Jesus Christ in their hearts as he taught them: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and thy neigbor as thy self, and As you would have others do unto you do likewise unto them. When this is done, there is no need for any other social programs. The New Testament is very clear that making laws cannot make people righteous. The history of American Government is proof positive of this axiom; we have been making laws to govern social behavior for over two hundred years and have continually gotten more corrupt. THE RULE (understand rule as reign) OF LAW IS A MYTH PERPETRATED UPON AMERICANS BY HUMANISTS WHO ACKNOWLEDGE NO SPIRITUAL POWER BEYOND THAT OF THEMSELVES.

To talk about the Mos Maiorum of a culture is actually a redundancy. The Mos Maiorum is the culture. The Mos Maiorum in Rome was the unwritten code of what it meant to be a Roman, and how one must conduct his affairs in order to stay a Roman. In all cultures, before the advent of modern society, violation of the rules of the culture brought swift punishment to the transgressor of the Mos Maiorum by the rest of the culture. Penalties for such transgressions were either prescribed within the Mos Maiorum of the culture, or punishment would be administered by agreement among the cultural authorities. In the church it was excommunication. In all cases the punishment was severe enough to discourage others from following in the footsteps of the trespasser while making the perpetrator think twice before again violating cultural law. Such punishments were always corporeal and included such things as public embarrassments, whippings, and beatings to the most severe violations being punished by banishment or death.

America is no longer the land that I served for twenty years in the United States Navy. America is no longer the land that I loved because the Mos Maiorum of the land that I loved is being systematically destroyed by dark and sinister forces who wish to reinvent America within a new Mos Maiorum embracing the principles of selfishness instead of those of service and duty. They wish to inculcate a perpetual dependency of its citizens upon their government, instead of independence and individual responsibility in the people of this once great nation. I am writing these things because it is so plainly evident to me that we must return to the heritage upon which our founders attempted to establish this Nation. I see only three possibilities for America if we do not return to our first principles to control ourselves in obedience to the Law of Righteousness and the Word of God. We will either come under the power of a Military Coup engineered by one of our own military leaders much like Sula once perpetrated upon Rome, (This will be the best that can happen to us if we do not return to our Christian Heritage.) Or, we will be destroyed as a viable nation by the wrath of God. (Believe it or not this will be the second best thing that can happen to us if we do not return to our Christian Heritage.) Or, the worst possible punishment that can come upon us is that we will subdued by the Islamic Tyranny of the Antichrist that is even now taking control of the Old Roman Empire. So I am writing these thing here with the prayer that someone will read them and likewise see our danger, and then begin pointing others to our great need for another spiritual awakening so we may escape from the pit into which we are blindly falling before it is too late.

I am angered by the cultural, intellectual, philosophical, and religious dishonesty of those who have brought America to the brink of self destruction and placed Democracy in the cross hairs of Islamic terrorists bent on destroying us because of our flagrant immorality. I am angry at all branches of my government, executive, legislative, and judicial who have not only lacked the moral courage and conviction to put down these cultural insurrectionists but have actually facilitated their destructive practices. I am also angry at American governmental powers for willingly subjecting American Sovereignty to the tyranny of some theoretical New World Order. I am angry at an American electorate, who has sat comfortably and placidly by the wayside, totally absorbed in their own self interests, while these things happened. I am angry at the commercial and financial powers who have sold us out for the price of a dollar to those whom the Bible describes as “brute beasts made to be taken and destroyed.” And I am angry at myself for not speaking out sooner because I see nothing on the horizon for America but the advent of a military coup forcefully bringing an irresponsible and self destructive population under control by force and violence, or I see us defeated at the hands of Islamic terrorists while we embrace the notion that they can be appeased. Barring either of those, I see the destruction of the entire nation under the terrible hand of the Wrath of an Angry God.

Satan has so blinded the eyes of the American People that they now sit silently by while the forces of evil call light darkness, darkness light, good evil, and evil good. The American People have allowed radical judges with a secular agenda to prosecute and persecute people for posting the Ten Commandments on the walls of government offices while they, themselves, openly advocate the murder of unborn babies. The American People have sat quietly by while these demonically inspired lawyers and judges have turned their opinions into law and force them upon everyone in the nation without ever having received a single vote from any of the people over whom they have tyrannically imposed their personal beliefs. They have done this while at the same time silencing anyone who has opposed them with lawsuits that only lawyers and judges can afford. The American People have now elected a Congress that cannot even find the courage to say that killing a baby by sucking its brains out of its skull causes it pain.

Today every person who encourages the vulgarity of common sin, advocates murderous abortions, finds so called victimless crime and sin acceptable, who is loose and easy on drug trafficking and drug addiction, who is open to all manner of sexual immorality and perversion, who longs for cultural degeneracy and depravity, who is tolerant of gang warfare, or who demands explicitly sexual, openly profane and/or gratuitously sexual and violent entertainment can speak freely from the lecterns of America, including those in many churches, without fear of being sued by anyone. But if someone makes a stand for Jesus Christ, the God of our fathers, and for His Word they will be relegated to the dusty archives in the back alleys of the Information Highways where they will be ridiculed and uniformly disparaged at all crossroads should they ever again attempt to gain access to the main stream highways. The Mos Maiorum upon which this Nation was founded, and by which she prospered for over two centuries has now all but been shredded and trashed by rebellious factions that can only be described as demonically inspired heathen.

According to Bill O’Reilly in his book, Culture Warrior, eighty-four percent of Americans described themselves as Christian in 2006. If this is true, and Mr. O’Reilly is seldom wrong about such facts, one has to wonder how the demonic influences of wickedness and evil have been able to trash the most noble, and most morally responsible culture the world has ever known in just a little over sixty years. How have these forces been allowed to grow so strong and prosper so well. Who has financed them? The money trail will inevitably lead back to the pocket books of three hundred million people, eighty four percent of whom identify themselves as Christian. America, do not be so naïve as to think that God is not so well versed in accounting practices that he cannot figure out where we are spending our money.

Why has every form of entertainment within America become so degenerate? Why can a person not even watch the news on a supposedly conservative cable TV network like FOX News without be assailed by sexually explicit and implicit advertisements using degenerate human sexuality to sell everything from soap to “male enhancement products.” Why is Christian Morality at such an all time low in the culture while heathen degeneracy runs happily through the streets and into our homes without even knocking to come in? What has happened to turn every cultural institution in America into advocates for this degeneracy? If one is to draw any cultural conclusions about us from our informational and entertainment media, we are a nation whose females are all harlots, whores, and lesbians, and whose men are all stupefied drones incapable any productive creativity except for exploring new ways to provide for the sexual immorality and indecency of degenerate humanity.

The only sexual act considered as immoral in American Culture today is if a male-person stupidly, but naturally, assumes that just because a female-person is openly advertising her body parts she is actually soliciting a sexual proposition. It is axiomatic. That which is not for sale is not aggressively advertised. That which is precious is protected from public attention. One has to wonder, “Where are the judges with some common sense who will hold the so called victims of sexual crimes at least partly responsible for soliciting such acts upon themselves.” There is no such thing as an unwanted sexual advance when a female is revealing her wares to every passerby. Since she has willingly placed herself in the market place where such wares are sold, she then has no right to get angry at some dolt who makes her an offer.

Openly criminal activity, drug trafficking, licentious behavior, gratuitous sex, pornography, homosexuality, lesbianism, pedophilia, and bestiality are all being blatantly advocated to the culture by Hollywood, Television, the Music Industry, and the Video/Computer Gaming Industry, and commercial advertisements. It is no wonder then that the Islamic Jihadists look at us and call us the Great Satan. We look at fundamental Islam as some kind of mental illness because it demands morality at the price of freedom, but it is no wonder that they hate Democracy when they see what it has done to the American Culture. Yes, these are hard words, but it is time to wake up from our cultural narcosis and understand that if we do not reclaim America for Christ, if there is not a nationwide revival of commitment to the Christian Faith that made America great among all nations, then America is doomed to die in the very near future to the same disease that has destroyed all previous super powers that the earth has ever known.

Christians should not need laws against such things as sexual immorality and perversion, abortions, drug trafficking, and drug use and addiction. Christians should not need laws against the works of the flesh such as adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, and revellings. Neither does Christianity require the aid of government to spread its Truth and influence. But any nation that decides to impede, resist, or hold back the spread of Christianity within its borders will face the wrath of Almighty God. The justice of God will only be withheld from a rebellious culture as long as that culture does not impede the work of the church and the Holy Spirit in spreading the Gospel. But, America has now placed herself into serious jeopardy by choosing to ban the proclamation of the Gospel in all public arenas.

Christianity will continue to spread within the people of America with or without the impediments of American Government, but American Government has now chosen to place itself in the terrible position of falling into the hands of the Living God where its own destruction will be assured. By choosing to unfairly and unconstitutionally impede the proclamation of the Gospel in all arenas of its public institutions, the governmental forces of America are prescribing their own demise through the Mighty Hand of the Wrath of God. I am not concerned about saving the Gospel in America; I am concerned about saving the America I love from destruction by the wrath of a just God in Heaven who oversees the affairs of nations. If America is to be saved we must demand that our government “level the playing field” in all public arenas as required by The United States Constitution. Allowing all religions access to public arenas is not unconstitutional, but restricting Christianity from such access while allowing others is unconstitutional and so grossly unjust that God will not long stay his hand long at such outrages.

Neither will God stay his hand against Christians who support this unfair and unjust condition. Christians who continue to vote for representatives and executives that advocate and pursue such an unjust condition will be dealt with by God in his way and in his own time, but it will not be pleasant for them or for the people they are electing. Historically, Christianity was able to influence the deportment of American Culture just by being a part of, living within, speaking about, and advocating Christian Doctrines and Principles within every facet of that culture from within the home, the schools, the marketplaces, the courts, the legislative chambers, and the churches. Today the forces that Bill O’Reilly calls Secular Progressivism in his book, Culture Warrior, have managed to usurp control of the legal system and educational institutions of America in order to silence the witness of the Christian Faith in all places except the four walls of a church building. Nothing but calamity of “Biblical Proportions” can result from this situation.

Mr. O’Reilly points out that the American Culture once had a strong Judeo/Christian foundation that is being systematically attacked, dismantled, and replaced by Secular Progressivism. This is what we have been talking about as the Mos Maiorum, the traditional values of a culture. But how can it be so important as to destroy a culture? Traditions are the unwritten constitution for conduct of all of the affairs of the culture that prescribe the way things are done within the culture and how citizens are expected to behave toward each other within the culture. Historically, no one who has ever stood against the Mos Maiorum of a culture has been acceptable to that culture. The punishment of any person who violated the principles of the culture was immediate and severe. But within the Traditional American Culture Satan found a way to accomplish what no other culture had before tolerated. Not so oddly, he called it Tolerance. Tolerance was only gradually introduced into the American Culture as a supposed fundamental principle of freedom. Tolerance of those who did not hold to the cultural principles of Christianity became easily accepted because no one really believed that a little leaven would leaven the whole lump.

Today, since the secularists who asked for the traditionalists to be tolerant of them have now become a dominant power with their own parallel culture, they have become tolerant of everything except traditional Judeo/Christian Principles. The effort to invert and pervert the culture is now almost completed, and now those who profess, confess, and address Christian Mores are being shamed, shunned, and excluded from all cultural communications. Christians and their beliefs are now ostracized from every cultural exchange except for their own church buildings, and there are now movements afoot that will attempt to close even those places down. So much for tolerance. So much for fairness and equal opportunity and access. It is all just rhetoric aimed at closing the mouths of those who hold to the Judeo/Christian Mos Maiorum.

It is believed that Hammurabi, circa 1850 B.C. Babylon, originated the first written code of laws for a civilization. Since that time civil law within a culture has usually been codified within a formal set of laws or a constitution that, once written down, were considered to be inviolable. These codified laws prescribed the degree to which the government could exercise its authority over its citizens, the interactions of citizens with each other, and, at the same time, actions that were illegal and for which the citizen or subjects could be prosecuted by the government if found guilty of breaking a law. At the same time, alongside the codified laws of a culture, there have been traditions within the culture, that, while not codified, and which were not legally binding, were none the less held in such high esteem by the culture that to violate a tradition was considered an act of treason against the culture and was tantamount to declaring oneself to no longer be a citizen of that culture.

It is unsettled as to whether the Romans or Roman Historians first called the traditions of Roman Culture the Mos Maiorum, but it is plain that what they meant by it was the traditions that had been passed down from parent to child teaching them what it meant to be a Roman, and what was expected of them to stay a Roman. It is the Mos Maiorum within a culture and not the codified laws of the culture that prescribes to the citizens of a culture how things are done in order to maintain the order, the sanctity, and the purpose of the culture. There can never be enough laws written to keep a culture from self destructing. The evidence of this can be seen in such things as drug abuse in America. The use of all uncontrolled drugs is illegal in America but there is neither the will nor the means of prosecuting all the millions of offenders. Neither would there be room to incarcerate all of these offenders. Historically when cultures became threatened by such outbreaks of “uncultural” activity the perpetrators have been eliminated rather than worrying about their “recovery,” but in America we seem to think that we can afford to recover those who do not wish to be recovered. The expense of this will one day become so staggering as to destroy the financial stability of the culture. At that time the political forces of the culture will take control of the “nurturing” of its problem children and simply begin to exterminate them. This is what Sulla did in Rome, and his actions set the Roman Republic on the road to Imperialism. The same sort of tyranny will happen to America if the culture does not willingly return to the Mos Maiorum of Christ.

In Roman Culture the mos maiorum consisted of several tenets of varying importance but all of which were universally respected by the citizens of Rome as being the proper way to conduct one’s affairs. The reason that the mos maiorum must carry the force of law within a culture is because the culture depends upon them to maintain itself. They are the empirical rules for life within a culture that say in effect to the citizens, “These are the principles that have served us well up to this point. Do not tolerate anyone who finds any reason to change them.” There is no officially agreed upon list of what specific traditions were included within the Mos Maiorum of Rome, but the following list is a sample of what has been generally accepted as the principles of the Roman Mos Maiorum:

1. Faithfulness: to be loyal to the fellowship of the culture; to be patriotic, devoted to one’s duty, to assume the responsibility for one’s actions within the culture;

2. Religious: to observe the religious scruples of the culture, to worship the God/gods of the culture, to strictly observe the ordinances of the culture’s religion;

3. Industrious: to be industrious, take upon one’s self the responsibility to care for himself and one’s family through customarily approved productive and profitable endeavors;

4. Constancy: to be constant, that is to say, to be regular in habit, steady in demeanor, not given to caprice;

5. Serious: to be grave, to be serious about serious matters, to conduct one’s self with dignity and expect that others do likewise, to recognize the authority of those who have the rule over you;

6. Frugal: to be frugal, not wasteful, not a spendthrift, to be cautious in all financial transactions; and assume responsibility for how one invests and spends what he has earned.

7. Civility: to be disciplined, in control of one’s self, not given to emotional outbursts or carried away by lust.

A little reflection will show that the mos maiorum of any nation is more or less the sum of the character of that nation, and any break with the mos maiorum is out of character and a break with the nation itself.

Likewise, when Christianity began to expand throughout the Roman Empire a Christian Mos Maiorum began to develop from the teachings of the Twelve Apostles. Because the Christian Mos Maiorum was not that far from the Mos Maiorum of the Ancient Roman Republic, Christianity thrived well within Roman Culture until it eventually came into conflict with the Mos Maiorum of Roman Imperialism. When Imperial Rome came to believe that Christianity would not be helpful for its imperial designs, Christianity came under persecution by the political and military forces of Imperial Rome. The same kind of thing is happening in America today, and it is happening for the same reason though no one seems to see the connection because it is being waged upon the church by the Imperial forces of Satan who recognize that the Mos Maiorum of Christianity is their only impediment to the spread of Satan’s One World Empire of Islamic Tyranny.

As the original twelve Apostles began to age, the Gospels were written down to be passed on to posterity, and we have them today as part of our New Testament. But there was also another less well known document written soon after the last of the apostles had gone to be with the Lord. This document was called The Didache in Greek, or The Teachings in English. The Gospels can be compared to the written constitution of Christianity, while The Didache can be compared to its Mos Maiorum. Belief and acceptance and support of the Gospel guarantees citizenship in the Kingdom of Heaven to the believer, while adherence to principles laid out in The Didache provides the evidence of such citizenship in the behavior of the believer. The Didache is provided here courtesy of The Athenaeum of Christian Antiquity, for your perusal. The Didache begins with the statement of the two Prime Christian Maxims, “There are two paths, one of life and one of death, and the difference is great between the two paths. Now the path of life is this -- first, thou shalt love the God who made thee, thy neighbour as thyself, and all things that thou wouldest not should be done unto thee, do not thou unto another.” From that general principle there follows a list of specifics that the writers considered necessary in order to keep the principle.

Within the specifics of The Didache are such statements as: “Thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not commit adultery; thou shalt not corrupt youth; thou shalt not commit fornication; thou shalt not steal; thou shalt not use soothsaying; thou shalt not practice sorcery; thou shalt not kill a child by abortion, neither shalt thou slay it when born; thou shalt not covet the goods of thy neighbour; thou shalt not commit perjury; thou shalt not bear false witness; thou shalt not speak evil; thou shalt not bear malice; thou shalt not be double-minded or double-tongued, for to be double tongued is the snare of death. Thy speech shall not be false or empty, but concerned with action. Thou shalt not be covetous, or rapacious, or hypocritical, or malicious, or proud; thou shalt not take up an evil design against thy neighbour; thou shalt not hate any man, but some thou shalt confute, concerning some thou shalt pray, and some thou shalt love beyond thine own soul.”

Do not be mistaken, just as all professions carry with them a code of conduct for their confessors, likewise so does the Christian Faith have its code of conduct, and to violate this code is tantamount to treason against the code and the confession. Just as doctors, lawyers, soldiers, and politicians are required to take an oath to uphold the principles of their professions, so are Christians expected to conduct themselves within a code of conduct of the principles of Christianity that Jesus put forth for His Church, the specifics of which are given in many doctrines of the New Testament but which are summarized in The Didache. Do not presume to over burden the Doctrine of Grace to extend to your conduct once you have professed Christ as your Lord and Savior for He is very plain upon this point, “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil . For every one that is doing evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” (John 3:19-20) Jesus said that anyone who continues to do the works of evil after having confessed him as savior actually hates the light and has not come to it. I would very earnestly urge any of the eighty four percent of Americans who identify themselves as Christians, but who are continuing to live out the works of the flesh in their lives, to seriously consider the import of what Jesus has said. There is a Christian Mos Maiorum and Satan is very actively destroying it within America.

Citizenship could be inherited within the Roman culture as in the case of the Apostle Paul, and it could even be purchased, but the powers that went with that citizenship could only be exercised through service to the culture. Paul was a citizen of Rome but he had no power over any subject of Rome because he was not in the service of Rome. The powers that came with service evaporated when the service ended. While forsaking the principles of the Mos Maiorum was considered treason to the culture, all too often the generalities of the principles of the Mos Maiorum led to a conflict between two principles and divided the culture as to which principle was more important to the survival of the culture. When Brutus et.al. asassinated Julius Caesar, they did so by citing the authority of the Mos Maiorum against anyone becoming a king. When Marc Anthony defended Caesar to the crowd he used a different principle in the same Mos Maiorum citing Caesar’s honor of service through duty and obedience and by refusing the crown held over his head while being reminded that “thou art only human.”

In truth, it is always the case when cultural principles are brought into conflict that one side or the other in such a conflict is twisting the intent or spirit of the culture, in order to advance their own agenda. The primary weakness of traditions is that they can be twisted by self centered individuals to achieve selfish ends. For this reason cultures have historically spent a great deal of time and money to train its youth in the habits of the culture in order to teach them that their first duty was not to themselves but to their culture. Alexander conquered the western world under the Mos Maiorum of the Grecian Culture that believed itself to be a New World Order, ordained by the powers of their gods to spread Grecian government, Grecian money, and Grecian religion over the earth. Alexander had been reared and tutored to this purpose from his childhood, and he lived it out in his short lifetime. This is the reason that the first cultural institution in America that was seized away from the Judeo/Christian culture by the Secular Progressives was the public school system so they could begin retraining American Children in the Neo-Grecian World Order of those who hate the Chrisitan Mos Maiorum.

Today the indoctrination of our children by these demonically inspired with in the American Culture has resulted in a melt down in the civil behavior of our citizens. Secularism confesses no authority except the self, but they accept no responsibility for themselves. Their actions and the effects of their agenda they hold to be above the Constitution or any moral reproach. America has abandoned the cultural principle of “training up children in the way they should go,” for the principle of everyone doing what they feel is best for themselves and to blazes with the rest of the world. Instead of training up children to be self supportive to their families and to be of service to their culture, their country, their fellow citizens, and their religion, they are being trained to go forth in whatever manner their selfish natures drive them at the moment, and at the same time they are being totally discouraged from thinking about such things as personal responsibility and self control.

In ancient cultures when disagreements would occur over the intent of the Mos Maiorum men would take such disagreements to wise men that sat in customary places of judgment and ask for a decision. Today, in America, they are taken to courts where judges, who, for the most part, are neither wise nor just, decide what is right or wrong, what is good or evil, what is true or false, what is legal or illegal. In American courts today, if no written law can be cited that can decide an issue, or if a previous judge has not already “ruled” on such a disagreement or one similar to it, then the presiding judge will manufacture a law out of thin air. Such a law, pulled from the rarified ether of jurisprudence then becomes the law of the land having no foundation except the personal belief of a judge with an agenda. Even when there is a codified law that can be cited to settle the matter, if the judge disagrees with the law from his own personal Mos Maiorum, he will overturn the duly enacted law and write a new one on the spot that places all posterity under his rule of law.

The difference in the ancient system with judges sitting in the gate, and with what is happening today with judges sitting in the courts, is that the decisions made by those ancient judges only applied to that one case, whereas today a judge makes a decision that it is called a precedent and it becomes case law where it is applied to all future cases of a similar nature. The principles of case law are repugnantly outrageous to a Representative Democracy, and those judges who believe in it and practice it should be removed from the bench for the reason of treason.  They should be banished to obscurity in some desert place such as Iran, and left to see how well their apostate doctrines will be tolerated in a culture not previously tempered by 20 centuries of Christian Mos Maiorum. To add to this outrageous situation, a judge’s decision can even nullify laws enacted by duly elected representatives. It is simply treasonous that such power has come to reside in the hands of anyone over whom the people have neither power nor voice. The American Judiciary has become the most despotic institution over the affairs of men since the French Revolution and much more will be said about this situation in the section, “What Must We Do.”

In most cultures, traditions have had no actual support from the codified laws that governed the people of that culture. They did not, and do not, require such legal support because the traditions of a culture define what the culture is, what they believe, and how the people of the culture behave. Nonconformity to the traditions of a culture is not the admirable thing that Hollywood would have you believe, and there can never be any such thing as a “Rebel Without A Cause.” Rebels always have the destruction of the culture as their agenda even when they have no personal understanding of their rebellion themselves. Contrary to what Secular Progressives would have us believe, the laws and the constitutions of nations have never made them strong, or great, or enduring. It has always been the Mos Maiorum of the culture that has been the thing that held the culture together and made it strong. Weakening the Mos Maiorum through rebellion to the culture is no less an act of treason to the culture than selling the military secrets of their government to an enemy of culture. Aiding and abetting the enemies of a culture is no less treason than aiding and abetting the enemies of the state. Such treason must be met with banishment, extradition, exile, or death if the culture is to survive. I believe that God has ordained the governments of Western Civilizations to bear the sword against any who trespass against the laws and customs of traditional Western Culture.

Codified laws have historically proven to be useless in the preservation of a culture, but they have served the power structures of the culture by legitimizing whatever force may be necessary in maintaining order within the culture. The threat of punishment under the “Rule of Law” has never been in itself adequate to maintain a civil decorum within a culture because there has never been a method of detection and enforcement that was pervasive enough to eliminate the outlaws and the rebels without the support of the general population. By way of contrast to this, the New Testament shows us that when Jesus returns to establish his Empire on Earth there will be a force capable of detecting and punishing infractions instantaneously. Many Christians call this empire the Millennial Kingdom without ever studying to see how, and over whom, it will be administered.

But the New Testament is also clear that before the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, an empire of Satan, under the control of The Antichrist, will develop in the region of the Old Roman Empire. This Anti-christian empire is already in place in the Islamic nations that border on or are close by the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. There are approximately one billion Moslems in the world today. They are scattered among nearly every nation on earth, and there is a dangerous half truth being perpetrated upon the rest of the world that most of these Moslems are peace loving people. We are being mollified by the statement that only ten percent of these Moslems are Jihadist extremists. But do the math! Ten percent of 1,000,000,000 makes up an army on 100 million armed and extremely dangerous people. But that is only the tip of the iceberg. There are very few of the rest of those one billion Moslems who will take up arms against any form of Islam to preserve or defend Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Secular Humanism, or any other Mos Maiorum except their own.

For this reason, if we leave Iraq before seeing Democracy take hold of those people fully, that which will follow in the world will make Saddam Hussein look like Captain Kangaroo. The only way a Western Style Democracy will ever be permanently and firmly established in Iraq is through a military occupation over three or four generations while protecting the free and public proclamation of the Gospel so that the Mos Maiorum of Christ can take hold within the population. Even if we follow this plan of action of militarily occupying Iraq over three or four generations we will still have the rest of the Islamic World to contend with all during that time. More of this matter also will be discussed in the section, “What Must We Do?”

The culture we favor for Iraq might eventually win out there, but it cannot do so in the time required by the impatience of an immature and divided American Culture that is fighting an even more divisive cultural war with itself. It is even doubtful that the cultural divisions in America can be resolved short of the same sectarian violence that is now on the rampage inside of Iraq. If you think that is an overstatement of what is happening in America, then you are too young to remember or have forgotten that the American Governmental authorities chose to buy off those first forces that opposed the American Mos Maiorum during the Johnson Administration rather than face them down in the streets where they were rioting and looting, and destroying private property. If you think that such violence will not break out in America again when the nation gets too bankrupt to keep buying them off, then you have foolishly allowed yourself to be brainwashed by the forces of multiculturalism to believe that something that has never before been possible in the history of mankind is going to now be possible simply because a few soft headed people want it to happen.

Historically, cultural wars have always been waged within nations to some extent as small portions of the populations of all nations have been divided by politics, religion, or wealth. But any major split off from the majority by one or more of these elements can cause a cultural war, especially when such a split occurs when one of the cultural fragments is in control the political, economic, and/or religious powers of that culture. Most cultural wars will probably be limited to small things like insults, strikes, and sullenness and recalcitrance until one side or the other begins to feel they are being left out of society, and they begin an outright revolution. This is what would have happened in the 1960’s - 70’s in America if the traditionalists had not made the concessions that the progressives were demanding at that time. Far worse for America that such a revolution did not come then when most of America was at least better equipped spiritually to stand their ground than they are today where here are hardly any Americans left who will stand for God and Country and lay their life on the line for such a stand.

Instead of actual revolution, what occurred in America in the 1960’s and 70’ was called a cultural revolution. This revolution is still going on and intensifying today because those on the side of the Christian Mos Maiorum are finally awakening to the danger posed to the America they love by the Satanically inspired forces of secularism. While the outcome is still in question, the lines of battle are not. On the one side we have the traditionalists who believe in the Christian Mos Maiorum upon which America was founded and under which we prospered and became the mightiest nation that the world has ever known. On the other side we have the Secular Progressives that would tear all of that apart for something, they know not exactly what, but which appeals to their need to be nurtured and express themselves fully and be empowered to realize their complete personhood.

Traditions, while unwritten, have the force of a written constitution culturally and are just as binding upon any citizen who wishes to remain a citizen of that culture. It is no more possible to rebel against the traditions of a culture and still remain a citizen of that culture than it is for ice to rebel against the cold and still remain ice. Traditions are like cast iron, strong but brittle. Traditions do not suffer bending well. When someone is allowed to break with tradition in a culture without being ostracized by that culture the fabric that holds that culture together is suffers a rend that is unreparable. As long as the tear remains open a new the culture begins to form within the rent. It is not something that is necessarily planned, neither does it have to be the result of deep and mysterious conspiracies. (Although it can be, as in the case of the spread of Communism.) There are many instances of cultures in history that have been displaced and destroyed by an invasion of another culture, but cultures have also just seemingly evaporated off of the earth without leaving a clue to why they faded away. Things such as natural disasters, climate change, and pestilence have often figured in the guesses as to why they disappeared. But cultures can only exist in unity, and when the unity is destroyed by division the culture no longer remains the same culture. Cultures that are tearing themselves apart will eventually evaporate.

While all cultures in history have been multicultural in the sense that there have always been some dissenters within them, peace within the culture can only be maintained when the majority of the culture is so overwhelmingly unified that such dissenters as there may be remain quietly subdued and ignored out of the mainstream of cultural affairs. There is no such thing as peaceful multiculturalism. Peaceful multiculturalism is an impossible dream. There can only be struggle between the factions that are trying to reform an existing culture into a new culture until one of the elements of that culture is weakened to the point of not being capable of additional resistance. Even then, if the defeated subculture does not retreat from the mainstream of cultural affairs, it will remain a thorn in the side of dominant culture to the point of having to be removed by force. You may not want to hear such things but that is the way of the real world.

When two subcultures are engaged in a struggle to gain control of the power elements of a nation they will be continually involved in a struggle that is not unlike the spiritual warfare in which the church is engaged. But this similarity will exist only as long as the struggle remains civil and peaceful. The problem with sectarian struggles is that they can and do erupt suddenly and irreversibly into violence. I point to the sectarian violence between the chartered Nation of Israel and the Islamic Nations surrounding her as the primary example of the truth of this statement. Usually, however, in a Western Style Democracy, the struggle between the two subcultures will remain nonviolent only so long as both sides believe that they can ultimately win through peaceful means. As soon as one side in the struggle perceives that it can no longer fight advantageously in the market place of ideas and beliefs, it will turn to violence as its final argument. This is what happened to the traditional Judeo-Christian culture of America in the 1960’s and 70’s when concessions were made to the secularists rather than kill them. If the secularists, who are now in control of most of the cultural institutions

Do not be mistaken enough to believe that these secularists who are now in control of the educational and judicial institutions will make any such concessions in return when the Judeo-Christian forces finally awake and try to take back what they have given away. Violence is unavoidable in the American Culture War because violence is the only argument that the Secular Progressives fear, and violence is the only weapon that can silence the Christian Mos Maiorum. It is a fact of history, and common sense agrees, that when cultural wars become violent the side that has the loyalty of the military will win. The Roman Imperialists won out over the Roman Republicans by bribing the soldiers. While the Imperialists won the culture war in Rome, they did so at the expense of creating a military establishment that was ever after available to the highest bidder. In the final analysis violence will trump reason in any debate for the simplest way to end the debate is to eliminate your opponent.

I believe the only reason that there is an exception to this in America at the present is because the Mos Maiorum of American Culture retains a semblance of the Christian Faith. As long as this illusion of Christianity remains in the fabric of America the debate will not turn violent. But at the same time, unless something changes, the outcome of this war is inevitable. The Secular Progressives will win in the struggle for the soul of America because they are dictating the rules under which arguments in the debate can be advanced. Those who are arguing for the Christian Mos Maiorum cannot be heard by the vast majority of the population because all of the communications systems to which the population has daily access are under the exclusive control of the Secular Progressives. Unless the playing field is once again leveled, God himself will certainly intervene.

But if the playing field should once again be leveled the Secular Progressives will again set the infrastructure ablaze as they did in the 1960’s and 70’s. Knowing that their propositions cannot stand up to examination in an open and fair debate, they will not tolerate anything but a stacked the deck on their behalf. I offer the proof of cultural prejudice against Scientific Creationism as proof that Secularists cannot exist without the power of a stacked deck on their side. Having not even a scent of proof for their materialistic propositions, they have derided and ridiculed all evidence contrary to their beliefs so loudly, and so often, that the population just accepts their religious beliefs as proven. 

Secularists have no qualms against violating the constitutional rights of Christians and silencing them in the public arenas, and they will resort to any necessary violence to keep them quiet. Unless the Judeo-Christian point of view can be as readily advanced in the public arena as the Materialist/Secular point of view they will win the struggle, but it will be a hollow victory for they will then fall into the hands of an Angry God who will either destroy us Himself, or turn us over to the Islamic hordes who are even now poised to rip us to shreds. Again, more will be said of this in the section, “What Must We Do?”

While it is sometimes easy for historians to point to an event within a culture and say with some certainty, “This is where the first rent appeared in the X culture,” it is usually more difficult to say exactly when the transition was complete. But one fact remains certain, in history there has never been a culture that has broken with its traditions that has ever returned to its former traditions without bloodshed. Culture wars have always been ended by eliminating all but a surviving faction. When such wars involved a people that God has set apart for himself, He has historically taken a hand in the destruction of the forces opposed to him while preserving those who where in his favor. But such has not been the case when purely secular forces have engaged in cultural wars. One side has inevitably began to employ violence to end the debate and war erupts.

When Sulla entered the City of Rome with his standing armies, circa 88 B. C., he broke with hundreds of years of tradition, and the Mos Maiorum which had governed the Roman Republic for nearly half a millennium began its metamorphosis into the culture of Imperial Rome. The ensuing struggle between those two subcultures resulted in such things as the assassination of Julius Caesar, the defeat of the Mark Anthony - Cleopatra alliance, and the inauguration of Octavian as Caesar for life. It is difficult to say whether there was ever an actual end to the conflict between the Republicans and the Imperialists in Rome because the struggle finally ended when Constantine consolidated the Holy Roman Empire by the use of force to form an entirely new Culture within the population of Roman territories.

In the case of the American Culture it is not difficult to show that the traditions of American Culture were originally based upon Christian principles, but it is a lot more difficult to tell when this fabric was first torn. Future historians, if there are to be any, will no doubt spend many useless and “enlightened” hours debating the issue, but I believe the tear that finally rent the garment in twain came in the two decades of the 1960’s-70s when for the first time we saw a subculture of “citizens” whose belief in materialism made them so fearful of death that they could not and would not hazard their personal safety for their country, and, at the same time would rather have seen it torn asunder than to give up their mores of drugs and free sex. This tear in the fabric of Traditional American Culture has not yet been mended, and neither has a patch been sewn over it.

The divisions in the American Culture are still at loggerheads to see which side will eventually own the power structures of the culture. But, this much is evident in the struggle for the American Culture: The side which compromises the least will eventually win out in the nonviolent debate, and right now that uncompromising side is the side on the left. Those known variously within other cultures as the liberals, the cats, the clay, the Sadducees, the Epicureans, the Democrats are winning because they only talk about compromise in order to move the right to the left but never the reverse. No better example can be given of this than to note the obstructionist policies of the Democratic Minority before the 2006 elections and then the talk of cooperation after they won the majority in those elections. At present things do not bode well for those on the Right in the struggle for the soul of America.

Most of the shift away from the Christian Mos Maiorum in America can be attributed to a shift in paradigms within the Institutions of American Culture that were originally created to preserve the Judeo-Christian principles of that culture. Most of these cultural institutions were founded and established to provide us with a basis for sound citizenship, regular habits, and good mores. These institutions have now been surreptitiously taken over by a segment of the population who profess a totally different vision of what it means to be an American. In most cases their vision and their agenda are based not upon good logic and sound reasoning, but on emotions, feelings, and lusts. This is not something that has happened overnight, but rather, it has been ongoing and has been steadily gaining momentum for well over a hundred years. But, if you believe there is a Just God in Heaven “who oversees the affairs of men,” then you have to believe that the time left for us to repent of these things is short, and we must begin to now to turn things back or face the Divine Justice as a nation.

This site is directed toward the eighty four percent of Americans who describe themselves as Christians. If you do not fall into that category, you had better read it also, because the things that are coming are going show you that you should have been in that number, and you will at least be able to prepare yourself for the things are going to come upon you even if you win the war for the American Culture.

For too long the church has unilaterally disarmed herself in this war for the soul of America. Laying aside her God given weapons of warfare, she has incorporated within her doctrines the inane nonsense taught by her enemies within the culture simply because they called themselves scientists. These so called men of science, who have educated themselves past being any longer intelligent, tell us their science has disproved the Bible. Nothing could be farther from the truth and real science can never dispute a single fact of the Bible. Even those within church congregations who truly believe the Bible is the Word of God have just stood quietly by waiting for God to do something to end the nonsense. There is no place in the Holy Scripture that tells us to watch passively as the church gets shut in behind four walls to meekly sing vain and jangling repetitions while the world slides into the pits of Hell, dragging the church with it. Jesus has opened the doors in the world for spreading the Gospel and sending a sword over the earth. He came to send a fire upon the earth and he said the fire had been kindled. Let the burning begin.

The truth is that the church is called to wage war against those who are described in the New Testament as “brute beasts made to be taken and destroyed.” I intend to prove that the church has been called to confront these brute beasts in every place in the earth and upon every occasion they choose to show themselves. My purpose in maintaining this web site is to undo the damage done to Christian Citizenship and Patriotism by the denigration, degradation, and vilification of our Judeo-Christian culture by these heathen unbelievers, who as the children of Satan have been crawling out from under the rocks since Darwin went to sea in the Beagle. If that means that both the church those satanic children will suffer some hurt and harm in the process, then let us prepare to suffer. These children of Satan have for a long time now been causing all kinds of damage and suffering to the congregations of Judeo-Christianity while the churches and the synagogues have sat passively by, waiting for God to do that which He has ordained His people to accomplish.

If you are one of those 84% who describe themselves as a Christian, you will probably have noticed that those on the other side in this war do not truly believe in either freedom or equality. They only believe in freedom to express their beliefs and the equality of those who are like them. They become demonically hateful, shouting out all manner of obscenities, when they are asked to shut up and listen to the truth that for freedom to exist, those who do not believe as they do have to be allowed access to the same public lecterns where they now spew out their venom unopposed. Even if these demonically inspired and/or possessed people do not realize it themselves, the dark spiritual forces behind their inane stupidity know, that when the playing field is leveled, the forces of LIGHT will dispel the DARKNESS every time. I tell you now to prepare for war, for when the church begins to uniformly demand the obstructionist policies of the Secular Progressives be removed from the halls of Justice and that the Constitution be once again enforced, those dark forces who have called themselves light will become violent.

Let me warn you in advance of the kind of violence they will employ if they begin to perceive that they are going to lose this cultural war. They will employ whatever violence they can use that will present the least risk to their own personal safety. They will riot once again in the streets until force is used against them, then they will use clandestine violence against the infrastructure of the nation by burning buildings, blowing up power plants, destroying public work facilities, and sabotaging bridges and highways. They will be supported and assisted by Islamic forces who likewise want to see the Judeo-Christian Culture in America brought down. And if they win, those same Islamic forces will turn on the secularists and destroy them. For America to survive she must return to her Faith in Jesus Christ and wage the warfare for which she has been ordained. Jesus came to bring a sword upon the earth. It is time for the church to unsheathe her swords and open up the doors that have been closed to her by the demons within America in the name of their brand of freedom.

Before we can engage the enemy within our midst as Christians we have to arm ourselves properly. But before we can do that we must drop the things which are preventing us from carrying our armor and weapons of spiritual warfare. The church has willfully disarmed herself spiritually and dropped her armor intentionally in this struggle. These conditions must be corrected before we can begin to wage the war that is now upon us. I will attempt to outline what I believe is necessary to win this war for the soul of America in the section, “What Must We Do,” but, before we can begin to fix the problems, we have to understand what they are. You probably do not understand it now, but much of what is being taught in public schools as science (including the social engineering kind) is at best a half truth and at worst an outright lie.

Most of the people teaching and professing these things do not understand them themselves. They have taken on faith what they have been taught and are simply passing it on, having neither an understanding of what they teach, nor the capacity to examine it critically. We must learn to recognize and challenge every “Just So Story” within the culture until we are able to fight the Spiritual Warfare that Jesus has laid upon His Church. I will attempt to explain these things further in the section entitled, “Strongholds and Imaginations.” But we cannot now issue such a challenge because our message has been politically denied access to the culture. The doors to the culture must now be opened. I assure you that if the church does not now stand and demand that those doors be opened, God himself is going open them. And neither the church nor the culture can imagine the destruction that can come in that judgment. The justice of God continually hangs over this nation, poised to fall at any moment, and if it becomes necessary for it to fall on the nation, it will fall upon the church at the same time.

I urge you, therefore, to learn for yourselves what the Bible teaches about Freedom and those whom God has ordained for the struggle to provide it to all mankind. Western Civilization and the Christian Brotherhood have had a hand in glove relationship since the ascension of Jesus Christ and this is no accident. Like it or not this relationship has been the dynamic force in the last two thousand years that has been the vanguard in the struggle to set billions of people free from economic, political, and religious tyranny in order to empower them to care for themselves and prosper while at the same time setting them free to live or die by their own beliefs. This is why the demonically inspired forces of Satan are working so hard now to corrupt and spoil the American Culture and prevent her from fulfilling her destiny. But all the demons of Hell cannot withstand us when our cause is just and our faith is strong.

You can certainly disagree with the things I say on this site, but if you are intellectually honest, you ought to know why you disagree, and what the consequences of your disagreement will be. It will do your faith good not only to know what you believe (even atheists have the faith to believe that they are right), but to ask yourself why you believe it. In doing this you may possibly see that whatever you now hold in faith is something you have taken in trust from some other person, but which you do not fully understand for yourself. I intend to point you to the Word of God as the only trustworthy authority over the conscience of man. Of course, many will say that the Word of God is nothing more than the words of some old men who lived long ago, but those who say such things are no less faithful to that belief than are those of us to hold that the Holy Scriptures have Almighty God for their Author. In all cases we are inevitably molded by what we believe to be the truth, and to change from one truth to another requires a change in world views, a paradigm shift. That is what Jesus called a metanoia, a complete changing of the mind, a complete rethinking of things, a Repentance. Jesus has said of both those who died at the hands of a brutal tyrant and of those who died in a natural catastrophe, “Except ye repent, ye shall likewise perish.” Judgment stands at the doors. The time is short before we perish.

In the final analysis, the church is engaged in an ongoing and constant war against Satanically inspired “brute beasts made to be taken and destroyed.” Our objective in this warfare is to permeate the American Culture with the Righteousness of Jesus Christ. More will be more said of these brute beasts and how to combat them in the section “EXPECT POLITICAL TURMOIL.”

Those who decide to continue exploring this site will surely see some things differently by the time they finish it because it is fairly easy to show that no writings of man have been as prophetically accurate as the Word of God. “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” Isaiah 46:9-10

In his book, Culture Warrior, Mr. Bill O’Reilly gives many good arguments for upholding the traditional values upon which he believes America was founded. He does this without ever citing any authority except to say that experience has now shown that the Traditional American Culture is a superior culture to that which is being proposed by the Secular Progressives. It is easy to prove from a historic standpoint that American Culture was far more stable, safe, strong, and vibrant before the Secular Progressives began to exercise control of America’s Judiciary, Politics, and Schools. All you have to do is ask someone who was alive in the 1950’s if things were better or worse, safer or more dangerous, more pleasant or more hateful then than now.

I know right off the bat some Secular Progressive is going to say something about the 1950’s being the decade before the Segregation Wars began in earnest, but I will still hold to my assertion. Ask some black people who were living in the south back in the 1950’s if they feel safer now than they did back then, if they think their people are better off morally now than they were back then, if they think that the problems of drugs, unwed mothers, single family homes, gang warfare, and children dropping out of school are better now than then within the black community. I would here mention the trashing of the beauty of American art, music, and literature since that time, but since most of those reading this will have no experience of the subject it would be pointless.

I fully realize that what I am saying is simply a matter of opinion. But that is what we have been talking about from the start. Cultural Character is always molded and developed by the opinions of its adherents. It is fair to say that while those of the Christian Mos Maiorum point of view may believe their culture of the past was superior to that proposed by the Secular Progressives, to the Secular Progressives it was absolutely repressive and repulsive. And there is no way either side can prove that their view of the future is better than the other’s. The only truth is that a culture war is a battle of opinions and neither side in this argument can prove their assertions that their opinions are better for the future unless they can cite some authority whose knowledge of the future is superior to that of either of the sides in the debate.

Therefore, before anyone can say that one culture is superior to another they have to have some authoritative definition of what a culture is expected to be and what is should accomplish. If the only authority one can cite is the opinion of some man, then one person’s opinion is as good as any other’s. When someone attempts to make an argument based solely upon the authority of man’s traditions and experiences, they can never proceed beyond the authority of men and claim any higher or superior authority than some other man. While Mr. O’Reilly did a grand job of defending traditional American Judeo/Christian Mores against the attacks of the Secular Progressives, he did not cite any authority beyond his own opinions and those of some other humans to authenticate his propositions. Any cultural arguments that can ever put forth from a solely secularist or human point of view can ultimately be resolved to show that they are logically fallacious.

The reason this is so is because when one uses only the opinions of some men as his authority, then the more people one can bring over to their side, the stronger their argument seemingly becomes. It is therefore inevitable that one’s final argument must come rest upon the logical fallacy called ad populum, i.e. the appeal to the masses. When Mr. O’Reilly mentioned the fact that 84% of Americans identified themselves as Christians he was obliquely employing the weight of this fact as authority for the truth of what he was saying. While 84% of Americans do not have to be wrong, by the rules of logic, they could be wrong, and thus offer neither support for nor denial of the truth of the argument. The majority can never be used as a standard for truth. If the only truth is that truth is determined by the majority, then there is no such thing as The Truth. The belief of the Secular Progressives that truth is situational and determined by the beliefs of the majority is inane claptrap. If they really believed that they would return to the truth that was held by the majority before they rebelled against it when they were in the minority.

The major deficiency in any unrestrained Democracy is that it invariably relies upon this illogical appeal to the masses to determine truth, but the masses in an unrestrained Democracy are too self centered to want the truth. Instead they opt for beliefs that are the most gratifying to their selfish natures. Invariably, in an unrestrained Democracy, the truth becomes that which is most gratifying to the selfish natures of the most people. That is the big, big problem when talking about culture solely from a secular point of view – one can never go beyond the opinions of the majority to decide upon which is the superior position. The reason we have to take so many polls in America is because most Americans believe that the majority determines the truth. In the final analysis, opinions are very common among men, and one man’s opinion is usually as bad as all of the other’s. When democratic people have failed to willingly submit themselves to some authority that they believe to be greater than, superior to, and more morally responsible than themselves, their own selfishness has invariably led to their destruction. It happened in the Ancient Grecian Democracies and in Rome when they abandoned the Mos Maiorum that had held them together and made them strong for centuries, and it will happen in America if we forsake our Christian Heritage.

When Alexis De Tocqueville studied the American Democracy in the early 1830’s, his general conclusions were that Democracy would work in America, even though it had not permanently worked elsewhere, because he noted that the American People answered to the higher laws of God and did not require an oppressive legal system to regulate their civil and cultural behavior. One of the things that De Tocqueville wrote a lot about in this treatise, Democracy in America, but which he failed to understand properly himself, was that he was observing America during the time of one of her great spiritual awakenings.

As De Tocqueville toured the country side he documented his observations of itinerant evangelists speaking in large camp meetings. He noted the determination and the devotion of the American People that were attending these meetings. Comparative multitudes of Americans were turned to the Gospel in those meetings, and the social fabric of America was determined for the next two generations. But every generation must weave this fabric anew for itself or the fabric will begin to wear thin until it is easily torn. We are at the point of being thread bear in America now. Since the time that De Tocqueville wrote about those camp meetings, the Devil has been constantly attempting to remove the higher laws of God from the culture in order to destroy the Judeo/Christian Mos Maiorum of America and get her out of the way of his work in the world.

This section of the Back to The Bible web site then is my attempt to state what Mr. O’Reilly left out of his book, but which De Tocqueville noted to be the essential ingredient for a successful democracy to sustain itself indefinitely: The need for an authority beyond the majority -- the absolutely vital necessity that the populations within a Democracy voluntarily submit themselves to the restraints and standards of conduct placed upon their freedom and citizenship by their Creator.

I will use the Word of Almighty God as my authority to show why Traditional Western Culture is not only superior to the culture that the Secular Progressives would thrust upon us, but that it is also a Holy Inspiration. I intend to prove to the reader by using the scriptures that God has ordained that his church will be called out from the world through evangelism while simultaneously providing the vanguard to lead the cultural forces of Western Civilization to spread the inalienable rights of all men to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness over those portions of the earth where the Gospel has taken root and is prospering. I also intend to develop the proposition that Judaism and the Lost Tribes of Israel are included in this ordination. I intend to show especially has God ordained the Church in America to be the spearhead in this noble cause of setting mankind free from economic, political, and religious tyranny. It may sound contradictory to say that a religion has been ordained by God to set men free the tyranny of religion, but it is none the less true. God wants mankind to be freed from all forms of tyranny so that each individual alone is responsible for himself before God for his choices.

The night of the 2006 elections a friend and I were discussing how God was still blessing this Nation in spite of all the godlessness within the culture. I told him the only reason I could see that God had not yet destroyed America is because He still had work for her to accomplish. I shall endeavor to explain what I think that work is on this website, and show what I believe God still has for America to accomplish. In order for this work to proceed, we must experience another Spiritual Renewal in America of the kind that De Tocqueville witnessed in the 1830’s. In order to experience such a spiritual awakening one thing absolutely must change within our culture: The church must once again be allowed to speak freely, openly and publicly, from all lecterns and in all forums, public, private, and governmental, in the fashion guaranteed by the United States Constitution: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” It makes one wonder how stupid a person has to be before they cannot understand the term, “the free exercise thereof.” It is high time to stand up and demand our right to the same lecterns and forums as those being used now by the Secularists to subvert the First Amendment Rights of American Christians. If our politicians, judges, and bureaucrats refuse to yield to our constitutional rights they must be removed from office by impeachment or recall. Too long have they hid behind the lie that the constitution requires the separation of church and state to deny Christians the same access to all of the forums as the secularists. Christians must unite behind the Banner of Christ and make themselves heard across the land.

We have to get the message out to America that God has a mission for us and we must devote ourselves to that mission or face His Divine Judgment. We must have another spiritual awakening. If we do not willingly turn ourselves over to this Awakening, God will surely get our attention through the terrorism that now threatens us, and/or through several natural disasters that are even now ready to break forth and destroy the infrastructure of American Culture on the North American Continent.

Islamic Terrorists are poising themselves to use nuclear weapons against our cities even as I write. Likewise there are many catastrophic natural disasters of “Biblical Proportions” that are ever ready to strike the North American Continent such as the Cumbre Vieja Volcano, The New Madrid Earthquake Fault, The Yellowstone Super Volcano, the Cascadia Megathrust Subduction Zone, the ever present San Andreas Fault, and thousands of Near Earth Objects threatening to strike suddenly and without warning. Such natural disasters are the ever present destructive reminders to the realities of the fragile existence of life on earth, and many of them seem to be especially aimed at the American People. If we do not turn ourselves over to God’s Work now, He will surely plow us as a field until we do. I will provide more details of this judgment in the section, “When Judgment Falls.”

In Culture Warrior, Mr. O’Reilly showed how the Secular Progressives were continually using the word “nurture” in speaking about their relationships to each other and what they expected from government. This is a dead give away of their immaturity. They want to be continually nurtured instead of growing up, standing up, and taking responsibility for their lives. Alexis De Tocqueville warned America that when ever the people in a Democracy began to depend upon the benevolence of government to provide for their welfare they would forever become children of the state, never able to grow to maturity, and the state would become like a doting parent that never wanted its children to grow up and become adults. Before we can go onto the Work that God has set before us to accomplish we must grow up as a nation and turn the Government loose to do its part instead of having to continually wet nurse and change the dirty diapers of the social engineers and secular-progressives.
